Check-in was a frustrating experience. I've been hearing about a "new system" for the last five years, yet standards have declined each year. Each previous stay had its issues; last year, the heat was broken, and a service technician had to perform an emergency override because they were in the process of upgrading all the systems. This year, the sink wouldn’t shut off, the tub didn’t drain properly, so I ended up showering in a foot of water, and the toilet wouldn’t flush unless I removed the lid and did it manually. Nice staff bed was decent. No heat in room, only a space heater. Fan was extremely loud. Room incredibly outdated Stains on all furniture. Oh Dirty walls. If you want a bath and a shower at same time, this is for you. Hallway smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Lastly- there were beetle bug things in their “lobby”

I'm not one to leave a bad review, but I'm trying to join forces with the community to push for improvement. It's not a hell hole. The employees were AMAZING. The location was great! However, the location is desolate. Columbus is definitely the type of city where the central city is truly a business district with no late night convenience or grocery stores. But it's true that this place hasn't done any maintenance in a decade. Paint peeling. Caulk falling apart. Shower issues. Weird thermostat. The hallway smelled like smoke... read more
