the facilities were overall very well equipped and clean. patients in the coastal unit had their own personal bathrooms even. though, the first room i was assigned to had a bathroom that did not close shut, it would slowly squeak and open by itself. nurses check in every 15 minutes so i felt uncomfortable using the bathroom if they walked in without knocking. i asked them about the door for a door stopper or maintenance, they kind of dismissed it and maintenance never showed up even tho they said they put in a request. and D... read more
I was very unstable the last time i was here. This hospital staff were overall very kind. Send your loved ones here instead of the Luminus health psych wards. I have had negative experiences with them, and frankly don’t trust them as much as Sheppard Pratt.
One of the worst establishments I’ve ever been to in my life
Wonderful place nice staff caring and nice food
I was not supposed to really be admitted. I went to the urgent care for help with my OCD intrusive thoughts and they said I had to be admitted. The woman who admitted me said to "stay strong" and "pray" and "what about your future children?" She showed me her graduation video off of her personal phone and said "if i can do it, you can too." My stay felt like prison. The staff have zero empathy.
