I had some mental health concerns & Sheppard Pratt’s female doctors & nurses and male mental health professionals allowed me to discover my inner potential Highly recommended!
Very long wait times just to be seen. Don’t recommend if you’re in crisis cause you’ll be waiting a while.
All front staff is super unprofessional. Imagine listening to others mental health issues being discussed and laughed at by people that are supposed to be empathetic especially in the field they work in. No help provided here I do not recommend.
I had a very rewarding experience in the adult ward during my time here. The staff is caring and kind. They had recreational therapy which was a game changer for me. The environment is thoughtfully laid out with free access to an outdoor screened in patio facing the woods. I enjoyed watching the deer and birds. There's tons of natural sunlight and the common area has a tv and secondary tv for video games. Most of the food was restaurant quality. You will not go hungry here!
