I purchased a hat based on the size customer service recommended and it came in to small. I had a hard time getting it returned and they charged me $10.00 for the return. The bad part is they sent me a hat with a label on the inside with another company name and at a lesser amount. This company is terrible to deal with and would never recommend them to anyone,

Sheplers has always shipped all of my items to an order in a quick and complete manner. They usually have the best prices and widest selection of sizes available. Returns and exchanges are fair and easy. I have called customer service for help with a special return and a question about my order. Both times they were very courteous and helpful.

I ordered a pair of boots that said they were able to ship the next day and would take 5-8 days to arrive. Fast forward 20 days and 4 phone calls to them and I receive an email saying that my order has been cancelled. I was told numerous times they were going to ship. I even received an email after 2 weeks saying that they were shipping that day. A WEEK LATER AND I GET MY ORDER CANCELLED...AND DON'T GET THE BOOTS.

We apologize for the inconvenience. At the time when the order was placed, our inventory was showing we had 1 instock. When the order was processed into our system, the boots were sold out. Our efforts were to try and get the boots from *****. Unfortunately, the boots were discontinued by ***** and we were unable to fill the order. We are going to reach out to the customer and offer them a different boot at a discounted price.

I ordered boots for Christmas that ended up being half a size too small. The beginning of the return process went fine. I received my label and shipped the boots off. Minus the fact it took forever for the boots to arrive back, it went smoothly. Then, I received an email saying that the size I needed was on backorder and would be shipped on Jan 27th. I emailed back on Jan 18th asking if the 27th was still the shipping date. I was out of town and wanted to make sure I had someone run by my house and grab them off of the porch... read more

Back in November 2017. I placed an order for boots. I noticed the address was incorrect. I called and actually got through and corrected it (the same day the order was placed). The boots were shipped out (to the mis-spelled road still). *** said they were left on the porch. I was home at the time. No delivery. I called immediately to ***. They then put a tracer on the package. nothing. The 7 days went by. *** received a notice from Sheplers for ME to contact them in regards to a refund. I had a great experience with Sheplers. I ordered a The Maverick leather jacket by SST Ranchwear from them on Jan 20th, 2018 and received it Jan 24th. The jacket was great just as advertised and true to fit. It was however a bit too snug so I called customer service who was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. They helped me start the process of returning the jacket for a refund. They don't have the larger jacket in stock so I ordered directly from the STS Ranchwear website and have it now. I ordered a belt on Jan.15, I got an email conformation that my order was placed and would get another e-mail when the belt was shipped. the money was taken out of my account and a couple of days later it was back in my account. I called and the said they did not know what happened to this order. I looked at my billing on site and said shipped. I still have not received a shipping conformation so I called and the lady said it had been shipped but when I searched the tracking number It is in error. I was told I should receive... read more

We apologize for the confusion. When a customer places an order on line, an authorization is obtained and funds are held for a time that is determined by their financial institution. After that amount of time, the funds will be released back to their account. When we ship the merchandise, the customer is actually billed for the items purchased. I do show that this item has shipped and it is scheduled for delivery Tuesday, February 6th.

Very slow service, they say, they will ship out a smaller size, but don't, and still have my money. I don't know if I'll ever get my shoes or money returned.

Item has been returned for an exchange. As we have been advised the replacement item is not available to ship until approximately 02/12/18, a refund has been processed and should appear on the customers account in 3-5 business days depending on transaction time between the financial institutions.

Ordered boots before Christmas. After many calls to Sheplers, I cancelled the order. Next day, they shipped. Today, Day 27, boots arrived but one is defective. Not a little scratch but the inside, the last in footbed is broken. Difficult to print packing slip & their postage didn't work so had to call again. Finally, she said return postage was $**. Told her to waive that or else w/ all the problems. Said she would but not holding my breath. Do not shop here. Especially international people should skip it. After this hassle ... read more

When the customer advised us to cancel the line on the order, the vendor had already confirmed the shipment. This shipment was coming directly from the vendor and could not be canceled. Our information shows that the ***** fee was waived an was not going to be charged to the customer. Our sincerest apologies to our customer for the misunderstanding, however when items are shipping from vendors we have limited control over what we can do in certain time frames.
