Great staff and volunteers providing much needed services for the elderly.
Volunteer driving for the Shepherd's Center of Northern Virginia has been one of my most rewarding activities since retiring in 2016. I love the complete scheduling flexibility, strong commitment to safety and training, and the easy on-line process to review and accept rides. The participants who need rides are extraordinarily grateful, and many of them could not easily attend important medical appointments or run critical errands without the assistance of the driver corps at SCNOVA.
They are very special people. They are compassionate, kind and generous. May the Lord bless each one of them. I wish there were more people with same heart and values, I am sure the world would be a better place. Thank you so much and God bless and protect you all.
Incredible group of volunteers. I am older and don't drive. This place is an invaluable resource. And the staff is very prifessional. Makes going to medical appointments almost fun.
