Have been using these folks for years. Honest, caring and have an attention to detail. Tough winter and all I can say is they do great. Have used them a half dozen times over the years and could not be happier.
They did not do a good job on my car. My vehicle had 8,000 miles on it when a suburban backed into me. When I pointed out the orange peel look and other poor quality work issues, I was told that they did the best they could.... Never give a shop the insurance check until you are completely satisfied. i really wish I would have checked the reviews prior to going there.
Art and his crew does a beautiful job restoring terrible damage. Being a local Truckee resident for 18 years, I have always had great results at Shepherds.
I was T-boned and had my truck towed to shepherds. They explained how it all would work and promised to take care of everything. WOW! Just like the commercial said! I kept in close contact since I've never had an accident like this before. At one point after the repair was complete, I asked about the tires. They were going to just replace one tire!! I once managed a tire sales and installation warehouse in SoCal, and I know you can't run multiple size tires on a 4x4. I ended up fighting with the insurance company and then I ... read more
