I am forever thankful for Shepherd Hill. I had a family member go there after a lifetime of struggle and pain, and it was life changing for her. For all of us. I’ve sat in the rooms and heard tons of stories of how Shepherd Hill saved them. With so many needing help, whether it’s addiction, alcoholism, or both, the people at Shepherd Hill care, and do what they can to help. I don’t know if my family member would be here if not for that place 🖤
Best hospital I've ever been too! The kitchen is even open to us, and yes there is a pool too bad my insurance didn't cover for it. Calming stay and thank God they didn't hold me too long.
I stayed inpatient for 45 days. A counselor told me nature wasnt a good higher power and I expressed that it bothered me she said that. Turned into a huge argument and the next day, I expressed I don't feel comfortable talking about my feelings with all the counselors because they are condescending and laugh at you. It's hurtful. Well I guess I was right because they kicked me out and deferred me to lapp for expressing how they made me feel.
