I have 2 Shepherd scopes. One has the 24" circle for larger game and the other has an 18" circle for smaller game. The first time I hunted with my 7mm Mag and the Shepherd Scope was on a deer hunt in central Nebraska. The deer had run across a shallow valley and ended up 1000 yards away. I leaned over the hood of the truck, scoped it in, and pulled the trigger. About 30 seconds later the deer dropped in its tracks. Don't doubt this scope!
