As far as I know, this is the only place in town that gives appointments for state inspections. I needed one at the end of the month and they had one appointment available. Everyone else told me to drop the car off the night before or plan on being in line for hours. I really appreciated the ease of having an appointment.
Bizarre dealership tactics to say the least! We walked in here on 12/20/25 to buy a used Kia Soul. After we inspected and test drove the car, Mike the salesman informed us that there was a tracking system and app that was not disclosed on the website. He pulled up our test drive on his personal phone and showed us everything from how far to how fast we drove on the test drive (not creepy or anything right?). Mike was kind, brought my son gummy candy and a drink, and made the visit pleasant. I had some concerns I expressed in my initial review that the dealership took the time to address with me, which shows their commitment to maintaining long customer relationships and making things transparent. Ridiculous state inspection process. Inspector failed my truck for corrosion on the inside of the rear rotors that was not there. I removed both rear wheels and inspected the rotors myself. I don’t know if the inspector is required to issue a certain number of rejections per month or what prompted that. I will have it reinspected and it will pass. What a waste of time. I will not be purchasing a vehicle or using the service department at Front Royal Buick GMC.
