I'm lucky to have Dr. Shen to be my surgeon! On July 18, 2025, I underwent spine surgery performed by Dr. Jian Shen and his surgical teammate, Dr. Travis Hill. My pre-op diagnosis included severe lumbar spinal stenosis with neurogenic claudication, lumbar degenerative spondylolisthesis, and lumbar radiculopathy. Dr. Shen is an amazing Doctor. I’ve had two back surgeries and one neck surgery with Dr.Shen. I come out of the surgery with confidence knowing that I will heal and be much better quickly. He is a brilliant Doctor and I highly recommend him. His office staff is also wonderful. If you need to speak to the Doctor or have a concern you know they will be getting back to you immediately. I can’t say enough about this wonderful group of caring people.
I was referred to Dr.Shen some years back after a failed not minimally invasive discectomy by another surgeon. Dr. Shen performed a endoscopic procedure to relief the pressure on the nerves and clean out debris. That procedure bought me 6 good years of pain free living. When symptoms returned an MRI revealed the disc had degenerated to almost nothing and the pain dictated my life and activities.
