I have a lot of anxiety with going to the dentist. Dr. Shen came out into the waiting room and shook my hand and introduced himself. All of the people working in the office are so incredible, too. They do a great job of making you feel welcome and getting you taken care of. As Dr. Shen worked, he explained what he was doing so I didn't have to feel so nervous. My review concerns Dr. Michael Shen at the Mount Prospect location. This review should not be removed. I write this review with a very heavy heart. I was a patient of Dr. Michael Shen for 20 years. We go back to when he had an office in Highland Park, and his wife was his receptionist. She was always wonderful. I want to make this quick. I have been seeing Dr. Shen for over 10 years. I used to hate going to the dentist. Now I actually go which is a huge deal. He is also amazing with my littles.

Don’t usually do reviews but it was very upsetting finding out that after 4 year of getting a root canal from this dentist, that it was not done properly. Now, I have to either get it redone (pay full amount) or get the tooth pulled out because of his lack of work ethic, since the root canal he did had flaws. After one month of getting the crown installed, called the office to inform of pain I was having on that same tooth, they were going to charge me to take a look plus any additional work to be done.
