Susan Shelton is a native, born and raised in Phoenix. She has been practicing acupuncture for over 35 years and was the first woman to be certified in Acupuncture in the state of Arizona. Taking the time to truly listen, as well as look, has always been our philosophy. By truly spending time, and by being thorough, the results of achieving the patient's goal of feeling better is remarkable. She will work with you through your problems by taking a natural approach to restore the healing process.

3 years ago I was diagnosed as pre-diabetic through my regular doctor check ups and was immediately prescribed medication. I did as my doctor instructed and began taking a new prescription but the new meds did not settle well with me. When I reported the issues with the meds to my PCP, he tried prescribing something else. I was a bit concerned that my doctor did not address any other options besides taking meds, which is why I decided to explore alternative options.
