Dr Mackaman is an amazing psychologist! Her knowledge is extensive and she is helpful in guiding parents in parenting skills as well as helping children with all types of issues. She is effective in assisting the family unit to evolve into the best path for everyone involved. During Covid- she has been vital in helping with coping skills as well as help redirect our focus to what's truly important and what's worth letting go of. Dr Shelley is by far the best child (and family) psychologist I know. I have shared patients with her for 15 years, and still I find myself thinking “wow she is good” after all of these years.

I worked with Dr Mackaman for many years. I absolutely recommend her! Helped me with Divorce, family issues, and child issues all different stages from baby to toddlers. Really made a huge difference for me and my family! Thank you Dr Mackaman!!!

I would highly recommend Dr. Shelley Mackaman to any parent needing support dealing with difficult family situations or issues with their child/teenager. I have recommended her to many friends and we have all loved her. I truly feel blessed to have found someone like her to help my children navigate issues as well as the vital family support she has provided. She has been amazing in helping my teenagers through difficult problems and teaching them great life skills!

Were you able to relax during your appointment? Not really, I was a little uneasy Did this provider promise services he/she couldn't provide? Yes! They couldn't do anything they told me they would be able to Did this provider answer all of your questions? None of my questions were answered Was it easy to make an appointment with this provider? I waited longer than I wanted to, but it wasn't terrible Did this provider rush your appointment? No

"Shelly Mackaman" has a probationary status in the state of Washington after extensive investigation by the Washington Dept. of Health. Read on the site about her probation, the statement she signed about her role in an "egregious" license violation and the multitude of steps she needs to complete to regain a full license with no probation.
