Called in for a quote on leaf spring replacement. Was told to come by for them to assess the job. After inspection by the mechanic, I was told it would run around 1 hour labor $125, perhaps up to $200 if extraordinary effort was needed. And if it was going to be more, I would be called and consulted beforehand. Dropped off the vehicle and was told I would be called around 5pm for a ride back to pick up the completed vehicle. I am very grateful I came across this shop. I was on my way home about 3 hours away and my car was having issues. I called this shop and he had me come right away and within 30 minutes had me back on the road. He was honest and caring and you can tell they take pride in the services they offer. My wife and I are from St.Petersburg and we broke down in Lake Placid. Greg helped us with getting a tow, setting us up with Amtrack tickets, and Greg's wife, Loraine, gave us a ride to the train station so we could get to the east coast. Despite having to spend a few nights in the hospital, Greg fixed our car as quickly as possible, and it was not an easy fix. We highly recommend Sheldon's Automotive. They were honest, fair, and very helpful with our situation.
