Really bad experience with this man. We scheduled a last minute appointment. We dropped everything and rushed through traffic to make the appointment. He seemed like a nice guy at first until he crossed the line. He started grilling me about my covid vaccination status. He made me feel very uncomfortable and stated our choice to be unvaxxed was “political” and “affects his family at home.” I understood his concern and asked if he would like us to leave to which he replied “no” but wouldn’t change the subject. In the few months that I have been working with Sheldon as my therapist, I can honestly attest to the fact that he has been a great help with my struggles of anxiety and depression. I feel listened to, understood, and I am in a completely different place than I was a few months prior. Sheldon provides helpful feedback and steers me away from the negative mental thoughts that perpetuate my struggles with anxiety and depression. Sheldon is an excellent therapist. I've seen several over the years and he is the best. Open free discussion but he brings you back to the issues that need focus. Friendly traditional & comfortable environment.
Dr. Sheldon has been wonderful for our relationship. He's opened up doors that we never saw before and enabled us to be even stronger as a couple - so you see, he is good for strong marriages too!! Not just ones that need fixin'!! Great listener, good sense of humor - easy going atmosphere.
Dr. Wykell provides a safe space and is a wonderful listener. His insights dealing with problems, concerns, and issues are very helpful. I look forward to my time with him.
