NOT recommended Dr. Shelby was dismissive of my 16 year-old daughter, barely greeting her, and not introducing himself. He was very rough, yanking her head from side to side and pulling on her mouth unnecessarily. He talked about her, but never TO her during the exam. He used the paper bib on her chest as a place to rest things like his rubber gloves while he wasn't using them. She felt dehumanized and burst into tears on the way home. been going back for 10 years I have been going to Dr Shelby for about 10 years now, for cleaning, fillings, and a few chipped teeth. An after 10 years I really don't have one reason not to continue going to Dr Shelby for my dental needs :) Bob Peschel
Very Gentle Dentist Dr. Shelby's office is very clean and the office staff is great. Everyone is friendly and helpful. I was scheduled at 9am and was seated in the chair by 9:15. Dr. Shelby went over everything he was going to do, whether or not my insurance would cover it and how much my out of pocket cost was prior to doing anything. The procedure was done virtually painlessly. He is very gentle, and I would highly recommend him to anyone. What a great experience!
Shelby Dental is Rediculously overpriced!! I am a former patient at shelby dental who has since shopped around to other offices and have found that shelby dental is extremely over priced compared to the surrounding dental offices in the Missoula area. I asked the front desk lady if i could make payments, and she demanded that i pay up front. For patients like myself who don't carry insurance i would not recommend this place.
The BEST!!! This is the best, most friendliest office I have ever been to! Dr. Shelby is the most caring dentist I have came across. He doesn't only care for his patients on professional terms but he cares for each person as an individual. Not only that, but he does awesome AWESOME work! He only settles for the very best. If you're not happy, he's not happy!!!
Employee The negative comments were written by a disgruntled employee that wanted to run the practice her way. After being put in her place, she felt the need to put the office and staff down to try and prove her point. At Shelby Dental, we treat everyone with respect and dignity.
