Beyond disappointed with this office. I waited over a month for them to go over my paperwork to be able to make an appointment, just to be denied being seen. I could have been seen and possibly diagnosed in this time by another provider.
I saw Dr. Danks over 2 years ago. I was yelled at to leave and never come back. The reason? My bloodwork didn’t show rheumatic illness. One might think a doctor with her experience would know that a person who receives blood product every two weeks for years and years doesn’t necessarily have her blood tested- it’s donor blood. Thankfully Mayo Clinic has diagnosed me. I have had this some time. X-rays were used, and on that topic, Dr. Dames ordered x-rays, but didn’t review them. They weren’t mentioned in the report. Would not recommend. Narrow minded. Sought second opinion with her and she quoted previous physician almost verbatim. If you have simple needs and simple problems you can use her. If you have complex issues that are hard to define she will suggest you lose weight and seek therapy. She did not even fax my records from her appointment with me my primary physician. Waste of a drive. Waste of my time. Her physical assessment was unlike any I've experienced with my previous rheumatologists, she dug her fingertips into each joint ... read more
