Waited 4 months for my annual appointment, when I got the office 10 minutes early, I was made to wait another 30 minutes without being called. Asked the front desk what was taking so long and told it was typical for Apodaca…too many new people in Coeur d Alene, not enough providers! That’s no excuse. It’s apparent that the patients time is not respected and we are at that their mercy as to how long we wait with no thought to what our day entails. Dr. Apodaca has been the most caring and professional OBGYN I could ask for. I had the unfortunate experience of having a missed miscarriage with my first pregnancy. I expected the process of a D&C to be cold and painful. But I was met with so much compassion and comfort under the care of Dr. Apodaca. My surgery went very smooth and my recovery was quick thanks to her expertise. Absolutely HORRIBLE. Please avoid this doctor at all costs. I scheduled a pelvic exam with a referral due to being hospitalized with abnormal pain. I had also gotten an ultrasound before the appointment in which we would go over the results. On mychart the ultrasound came back irregular and they recommended further testing. Going into my appointment I was happy to finally get some answers. "Dr" apodaca walks in, says everything looks normal, does NOT do a pelvic exam, and tries to shove birth control down my throat. Hands down the BEST OBGYN! She delivered my baby via csection and made me feel so safe and comfortable before, during, and after. She advocates for your wants and needs. She is a great listener and offers such sound advice. Her energy is so calming.
Great OBGYN. Dr.Apodaca performed my 4th c-section (fifth child) and did a wonderful job. I have tons of anxiety about hospitals and medical procedures and she was totally cool with it and made things as easy as possible for me. I am so happy with my newborn and all the care I received while in the hospital and in the operating room. I couldn't recommend Dr. Apodaca enough.
