My friend was here after knee replacement. They took 6 hours to get her registered and another 6 hours to get her prescribed pain meds. She asked for a shower, they said she would have to wait until her shower day. At the hospital she used the bathroom. At this facility they tried to make her use a bedpan. Under-staffed. Most of the staff were caring.
My stay here at Shelby has been wonderful, big shouts 👏 to Jordina, Tiffany, Yvonne, (nursing staff) Mindy, and Debbie (therapy staff).. I will definitely recommend my friends and family to Shelby...
So disappointed with the care of our mom. There are a couple of notable rehab staff employees that seemed to sincerely care about helping the patients. Unfortunately two nurses in particular clearly did not care to honestly communicate health issues with our mom. Sadly we experienced our mom being left alone numbers of times precariously sitting in positions that she could have fallen. (we have photos). I was on the 900 hall with Robbie, Jackie and Trinity they always made sure I was okay, wonderful thearpy with Connie, Maryanne, and Lauren. Anyone in need of rehab I will definitely refer them to Shelby.
