I had a challenging experience bouncing around GI doctors in NYC while dealing with IBD-- the reviews on zocdoc and other sites can be very misleading, or even outright fake reviews. Dr. Rustgi was knowledgeable and patient with me; she answered all my questions. I definitely recommend her.
Dr. Rustgi didn’t listen to me. She ignored my basic request for a check up and passively aggressively judged me for my “lifestyle” (based on her ideas on purity culture). This was a judgement on the clothes I wear, I couldn’t imagine what it would be like if I brought other concerns to her attention.
