I have only had great experiences with this facility. Everyone is incredibly kind, helpful, and thoughtful, as well as being efficient with my refular checkups.
During my mammogram I was informed about a simple ‘spit in a tube’ test for Genetic testing to determine if I was at higher risk (BRCA 1 or 2) for cancer. They told me nothing about the price, only that it is a simple test. I received a bill for over $3,000. This amount is severely impacting to. I know a simple blood test would have given me the results at a fraction of the price, but it was never offered. Then they say you receive a follow up appt with a genetic counselor via Zoom. Wanted a second opinion and got referred to this clinic, only to get turned away after driving an hour and a half all because The doctor preferred to get paid with a money order or with a cashiers check in order to prevent having to pay Henry Mayo, which is whom the clinic is attached to. It was very inconvenient to be turned away for $100 that could have been charged to my debit card, gave me the runaround to go find somewhere to get a cashiers check so eventually I gave up and left without getting anything done, all becaus... read more
Nobody wants to be a regular at the breast cancer screening place (3 visits in one month) but if you absolutely have to then there's no better place around. The entire staff here is lovely! The ladies are down to earth, caring, and kind. The facility is clean. No significant wait times. Overall a good experience-thank you ladies!
