She was my first African American OBGYN.. And I was so disappointed by her condescending attitude. She laughed under her breath after i responded to a question about my sex life...I would not recommend her to anyone. I wish I would have read these reviews FIRST! Never would have wasted my time.
I was looking for a good African American obgyn. Dr. Allison was not it. I went one time and I would never go back again.
This woman messed up my partial hysterectomy. A few months after, I began to bleed, I called her office and was assured I was mistaken and to come in. Went in and sure enough she found blood apparently they didn’t freeze something during the procedure. She attempted to correct the mistake. It worked for a while but every so often I will bleed. Mind you I went in for a full hysterectomy. Now at 52 years old I woke up to spotting again.
Worse doctor and experience I ever had. Unprofessional and unprepared. She told me that I just had to deal with the issue I had and no type of hope or suggestions on her end. I will never return to her office. RUN!
I was referred by my gynecologist to Dr. Allison due having trouble getting my IUD removed. I booked an appointment 2 months out (as it was the only one available). I heard nothing from the practice about prep (even though my gyno mentioned multiple options I would need to be aware of). I tried calling the practice twice with no answers about prep.
