I have used Sheffield (originally Tippett Richardson)for a couple of moves here in London, Ontario and was always happy with their service. Recently, I arranged for a move of an elderly friend from her home of 37 years to an apartment. She had a huge amount of furniture, antiques, paintings etc. Mike Rowe (the GM) was awesome - attentive and recognized the physical and emotional magnitude of this move. We had a move from Canada to the US booked with Sheffield, via Allied. We were very happy with the service. We had Tim help us with the estimate and organizing the logistics. Things were smooth despite some late changes on our end. The day of, we had Mike come and do the packing. He was very polite, efficient, and meticulous. Everything made it to the other end in great shape with no damage. Would recommend Sheffield to others for long distance moves.
A.J and Mike did a great job loading and documenting all my items. They took care with each item, and even helped me figure out how to pack some oddly shaped item (fishing poles, smoker, guarding equipment). They were fantastic.
We had a pleasant seamless move The crew was efficient and friendly. A pleasure to have in our homes.
