Warning: Dr Shefelbine ordered a Brain MRI bcuz I had (sensorial) one sided hearing loss. NO OTHER SYMPTOMS! It EASILY could have been TMJ. She also ordered a CT of my neck, for throat cancer bcuz she said I had ONLY quit smoking for 14 years. (NO OTHER SYMPTOMS). That WAS INSANE! I requested a 2nd hearing test, bcuz I had missed a few pings, but her RN dismissed me. I had gone in for "mild" ear pain, and after stopping hard foods, it went away. Dr. Shefelbine is a great doctor and surgeon. She took out my tonsils and later helped me with vestibular migraines. I felt like she really cared about me. I wasn't just a number to her.
My husband had a mass removed behind his ear in 2018. Wonderful bedside manner and very responsive when insurance was giving us a hard time. The reason I come back and leave a review several years later is because of how wonderful her work was. His recovery was smooth, the scar is minimal and she blended it perfectly into the contouring behind his ear. Highly recommend!
