Dr. Sharma and the Mercy medical staff took excellent care of me during my procedure. They were all very kind, thorough, answered all my questions, and made sure I was comfortable. I would highly recommend him!
Dr. Sharma took a methodical approach to my problem. You can tell he is very intelligent and experienced in the field. The staff is professional and friendly. I've been to another GI (that has higher ratings on Google) at a different hospital and I feel that Dr. Sharma is a much better doctor. He may talk a little fast but he is respectful, very clear, and to the point. I can appreciate that. Easy 5 stars.
It's very disheartening when health care professionals don't listen to you or your health concerns, or when they treat you like you don't know your own body and can't differentiate when something is wrong. This is one of those doctors. Their inability to listen to their patients was the very thing that stood between me and help. No one should have to fight as hard as i did just to be heard, respected and acknowledged. No one should have their symptoms dismissed and no one should have a doctor who makes them feel worse.
He was great at first when my mom was in the hospital. We thought he was wonderful. Then all of a sudden it is like he just dropped my mom as a patient with no explanation. The doctors and Mercy staff were great until they decided she needed to be transferred to a rehab facility. Then we didn’t get answers and the staff just ignored my mom the last day and a half. So they are getting rated 1 star.
Dr Sharma saw my husband for stomach issues. He is kind and compassionate.
