I have nothing but good to say about my experience with Sheer Elegance. Gwen came to my new home to discuss options for window covering. She was very patient as she explained options; she didn't oversell but helped me find what worked best for me and my budget. The product came in lightning fast and Gwen brought a crew to install. The crew was professional, and did an amazing, quick install, and hauled the packaging away. Gwen identified a defect in one of the blinds I would not have noticed, and swapped the product out. My husband and I are repeat customers of Gwen Jones at Sheer Elegance. We first utilized her services to install Silhouette blinds in our Bedford, IN home in 2010. When we sold our house in 2020, the hardware still worked perfectly and the fabric looked new. So when we relocated to Zionsville, IN we again contacted her and did whole house window treatments. While i appreciate and welcome any and all responses, good or bad, it is disappointing that a professional person would put such harsh and excessive reports in a review, as has done for my business. I do not charge one rate to a young person and another rate to a elderly, frailing individual. While I didn’t actually do business with this business, I am glad I didn’t because she turned out to be incredibly unprofessional. My elderly disabled father got a bid to cover 8 windows and some sliding glass doors and it came to just under $12k. Gwen who owns the business took it very personally when I let her know I decided on another option that was 1/3 the price she quoted me and the proceeded to go out of her way to personally insult me.
