My wife took her Lexus in for the 15,000 mile service thinking it was an oil change but to find out they replaced the key fob batteries, checked the floor mats (I kid you not!), added a $40 fuel additive, and rotated the tires… she was not told ahead of time that certain things didn’t have to be done and wouldn’t be charged for them such as unnecessary batteries and fuel additive…this all cost about $170? Now they are very nice, no doubt, but ask before you agree to anything or send someone in who doesn’t know cars.
After they repair my car
I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Lexus of Richmond. Specifically, Sales with Derrick Luster and Finance with Steven Baker. The vehicle I purchased was a 2017 Ford F150 Super Crew XLT 4x4. The vehicle was immacualte and Drrick was with me every step of the way. Derrick knew the ins and outs on the truck and answered every question I had in detail and honestly. I came in to have my speaker repaired on 12/7/2024 around 9:45am and the service advisor informed me that it wouldn’t be a warranty coverage. I’ve had a speaker replaced in the past and now another one is blown. This is unacceptable. I asked to speak to a manager and when Jason mcallaugh was informed of the situation he immediately states I will need to wait 30 mins to speak to him. This is very unacceptable as all my services has been performed by Lexus. This should be covered under basic warranty 4 years 50k miles. Will ne... read more
