I AM SO GLAD THAT I FOUND DR. SHECHTER TO BE MY PERSONAL PHYSICIAN. HE DEEPLY CARES ABOUT THE WELLFARE OF HIS PATIENTS. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND COMPETENT. HE EXPLAINED ALL THE MEDICAL ISSUES TO ME VERY THOROUGHLY WITHOUT RUSHING. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND HIM.
This guy is the best I wish he were my physician out in DC .
I found Dr. Shechter to be very knowledgable. He was friendly and makes you feel 'at ease'. He explained my medical issue and offered what he felt to be the best treatment protocol for me and (my needs). His office staff are very nice and accommodating. Also when you call his office a 'real person' answers the phone right away, you don't get a recording to press buttons and wait on hold forever ! I will definitely recommend Dr. Shechter to anyone looking for a new or 'better' doctor. Try him.....you will see for yourself !
He raises his voice at you if you don’t do what he says. If you have a primary concern they go around it.
I FOUND HIM TO BE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND FRIENDLY. HE UNDERSTANDS THE ELDERLY POPULATION AND THEIR EXTENSIVE MEDICAL NEEDS. HE TOOK CARE OF ALL MY MOTHER'S MEDICAL NEEDS FOR OVER 35 YEARS. SHE WAS ABLE TO LIVE A FULL LIFE TO AGE OF 98 !
So you do have to wait to ssss him, but when you get him he takes his time, explaIns the situation, and makes you feel comfortable. Dr Shechter has a very thorough understanding of medicine. I continue to see him and would recommend him (and do)
