I had such a wonderful experience with Tara and Stephanie at Shear Magique. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, and the salon itself is beautiful, clean and relaxing with such a lovely decor. My haircut and color came out great; I absolutely love it. Tara is an excellent experienced stylist with a sweet personality. Thank you for doing such an excellent job and creating such a warm atmosphere. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend Shear Magique, Pomona, NY.

LOVE Shear Magique! It truly is therapeutic getting your hair done. I don’t get my hair done nearly as often as I’d like/should, but it’s always a welcoming warm vibe every time I go. Julie is not only so sweet & kind, but also extremely knowledgeable and skillful. I started getting grays in my mid/late 20s. I have a patch of grays right at the front of my part line. Very disappointed by their customer service and the lack of communication with their clients. Update- My color consultation should have been cancelled from the beginning. I was never told of a deposit or the deadline. This type of information is called communication and should be learned by the staff.
The staff was very nice and attentive, which I appreciated. However, I was disappointed with my overall experience. When booking online, the website shows one price, but when you arrive for that same exact service, the price is higher. I feel like the pricing should be more transparent and consistent with what is advertised online. I also wasn’t happy with the “blowout.” My daughters hair came out very puffy and didn’t look like what I would expect from a professional blowout.
