Angela is the best!
Marina has been cutting my hair for years. If I decide I want to change it up, she will accommodate me. She knows how my hair will fall. She is an expert in coloring. I have had several different hairstylists over the years. When I finally found Marina, who was working at The Hair Cuttery at the time, she had finished their master stylist program. She knows how to follow what is in fashion. More importantly, she knows what will look good and what my hair will do. She has definitely found her calling.
Shear Magic is a lovely salon in a nice location. The space is welcoming and clean with plenty of parking. Dinah has been cutting my hair for at least 15 years now, and I won't let anyone else touch it. Even though I've now moved to northern Virginia, I still drive to Charlottesville for my haircuts! Highly recommend.
*Hands down*, Marina is absolutely AMAZING at what she does!! Not only is she curteous, friendly, knowledgeable & professional, she will do her best to work w/ you to accomodate your schedule around hers. I was able to get in w/ her within 2-3 days, at the max, for extensive hair services. I went to her w/ a head full of broken ends, color grown out, just a HUGE mess & came out looking/feeling like a brand new woman. Due to a bad experience at another salon they were able to fit me in here at the last minute and Angela did my hair and did an amazing job. I was so happy with every part of my service here perfect coloring.. shampoo and so friendly.. Angela is my new stylist and I'm so relieved and glad I found her and the prices is beyond reasonable.
