Kelly is the most amazing hairdresser know. Not only is she friendly, outgoing, and extremely talented with hair but she is a great person. I would recommend her to anyone who has had trouble with bad haircuts in the past. She has always done an amazing job with my hair, my wife's hair and even got my kids to enjoy going to get a haircut.
After reading the review by "truth" I must say that this sounds more like a bitter ex-employee than anything else. I have known Kelly (the owner) for more than 10 years and can honestly say that she is not a only a true professional, but a hair magician. I have healthy, beautiful hair thanks to Kelly! When I got married Kelly did my hair, to this day people are still saying how beautiful it looked (and that was 8 years ago) so she must be doing something right. Love love love this salon!! After years of going to Short Hills for a very expensive color and cut I found Kelly at Shear Energy! My hair looks fantastic and I receive tons of compliments on it!!! Thank you Kelly and all your staff for having such an amazing salon so close to home! :)
I was highly recommended to the salon by a friend of mine who has been a costumer of Kelly's for quite a few years. I am still fairly new to the salon myself, but so far I find it to be very warm and inviting. Kelly and Nicole are both very friendly and make you feel as if you are visiting family. The atmosphere is just as such. I love the service that is provided to me and leave feeling so wonderful! I have to say that I have FINALLY found my salon! the owner is disorganized, inappropriate, confrontational, condescending, unprofessional, does not know how to handle situations, inappropriately talk to customers, and the list goes on. she spreads information around that is private. disrespects employees. invades personal space. forgets to cut certain areas of hair. claims to be a specialist in many areas including EXTENSIONS, COLOR, RAZOR CUTS, SHORT HAIRSTYLES, AND BLOW DRIES. the salon is a greenhouse so bad choice if you have allergies to plants. she has only been open... read more
