Ok. I see I am not the only one that had a bad customer service experience with this particular stylist. I came to the reviews (which I should have did first) to see if I was just overreacting. I am very disappointed in my first (and last) interaction with this stylist. I was a potential new client, coming in from out of town to possibly obtain her services. Her interaction was extremely condescending and rude. It’s hard to find a professional and HUMBLE hairstylist these days.
Poor customer service, took my deposit and cancelled
Disappointed with Shear Designs Hair & Beauty Lounge I reached out to a pixie stylist at this salon via text and booked an appointment. We discussed my hair, and I even sent a picture for reference. The stylist suggested that I either grow out my hair or cut it, and I chose to grow it out based on her recommendation. Next thing I know, a $50 charge was taken from my card—for advice that she initiated. Mind you, this was her suggestion, not mine. Beware of unexpected charges at this salon! Would not recommend.
Best hair cut of my life! Shawntae gave me the perfect pixie! Her salon is beautiful, comforting, and inviting. Will definitely be back for a refresh and reshape.
