Was driving home from my graveyard shift and suddenly experienced a rhythmic slapping sound from the engine. Couldn't see what was wrong in the dark but thankfully the car restarted later in the morning and I limped it to Sheaf's a few blocks away, terrified that I couldn't afford whatever had happened.
