Dr. Mokfi taught me how to cope with my diagnosis, changing symptoms, to understand my medications. Facing the lack of care from doctors in another community, I am more confident in my ability to deal with ongoing challenges with the resources available. So grateful for Dr. Mokfi. He made a difference for me going forward.

My father has been a patient of Dr. Mokfi's for ~15 years, and I always thought he received excellent care - until this week. When I tried to contact Dr. M about an urgent medical situation, I felt like he was just trying to push us away. No attempt to fully understand the problem, no interest in evaluating my father. His response (through his nurse) didn't address my concerns at all. Impossible to speak with him directly, have to wait until DECEMBER for an appt. EXTREMELY disappointed!
I had been a patient of Dr. Mokfi's since 2005. He was THE doctor you wanted to be with until in 2015. He reduced his office hours to 1 day/week & expects his patients to be happy seeing a nurse practitioner instead of a physician. My Dec. appointment was rescheduled to Jan. which was then rescheduled to Mar. which was then rescheduled to June. When I questioned him directly I was informed things have changed his new son is his priority and he does not care about his patients. Go elsewhere
Mokfi was excellent through 2015. Then, for reasons never explained, he reduced his workload to one day at the office per week. On three successive occasions in 2016, he cancelled appointments with me; rescheduling involved two-month delays. In the end, I chose another internist.
