It took FOUR MONTHS from the day the agreement was signed for Shay Environmental to fulfill the contract of a septic replacement. Upon initial conversation, the job would take 2-3 weeks. After MANY inquiries as to progress and estimated time line, equipment arrived on site after 2.5 months. It took another month for the project to be completed. Did not hire him, was hired by the property owner of the house we were purchasing to replace the septic so we were stuck with him. He was required to "fix" our pump in the basement and the outcome was atrocious, unprofessional and needed a real plumber to come fix it as it leaked. Pic is attached. He had an attitude, talked negatively about my dad asking questions and not timely.

Septic system install. What was supposed to be a 3 day job turned into 2 weeks. He would show up for 2 or 3 hours then left without telling us when he would be back. Next day we waited to about 10:30am. I texted him to see if he was coming. Got a text back saying yes. He showed up at 12:30pm. No communication with him. He left my gravel driveway a mess. We where promised everything would be left the same way it was. Not a man of his word. For instance the cement covers in the driveway with the metal hooks had to be cut. He t... read more

We were under a tight time crunch and Carmen was amazing- he stepped up and worked incredibly fast! He was professional, on time, always responded quickly to my calls and worked closely and well with the town inspections. I can’t recommend him more highly. -Megan Z.
