I expressed my feelings that I didn’t feel like I was being advocated for after almost a year of waiting to get a specialist appointment. Tests weren’t ordered that should have been. The receptionist refused to give me the name of my specialist and then I got a form letter stating I had to find another Dr after being a patient for over 6 years because “our practice and my expectations are not aligned” No call from the actual Dr and my name was spelled wrong on the letter . We are patients with doctor at this clinic over 10 years, our doctor works on Fridays only, it was okay when we were younger, healthier and our schedule was much flexible in the past. We have to book many weeks ahead of time to see my doctor, and over half of time when emergency happens, we ended up with other doctors in the clinic. Today I requested if possible to switch doctor, but I was told by the front desk lady that they had rules in place would not allow switching doctors in the clinic, no matter what the reason is.
