Great Skiing in the Poconos! – The weather was great and went on a Wednesday, so there was no one there! The high-speed lift was WAY better than the other lift. We had a blast. No ice, no slush, who could ask for more in the Poconos?
Great Conditions, Good Food, Brought back fond Memories – Went on Thursday in January from noon to 5pm after a 6 inch snowfall. Conditions were genuinely perfect with packed powerer and fresh powder along the edges. Staff is friendly, lodge clean, French fries are tasty. I learned to ski here as a little kid and hadnt been back in 22 years! Brought back some memories. Great first time experience! – I really learned a lot during my 9:45am lesson on Saturday morning. I went from fear of skiing to being able to enjoy the green trails all afternoon. We (my son, his friend, and his friend's family) had a great first time at Shawnee and we very much appreciated the excellent family-friendly staff and facilities. We will go back soon!

Best Snow Tubing in PA - Great staff – Snow tubing is so much fun for us non-skiiers. Tubing staff was awesome. They were all the nicest tubing staff we have come across in the Pocono?s. Wow, Impressive! The staff helped our 6, 7, and 11 year old not to mention us scared adults. We thought they were great! John, the supervisor even helped to encourage our daughter. We will go back.
