My experience with Shawna has not been the best. She appears to know the material, but does not have the patience or moral aptitude to explain the information being handed to patients. I am not sure if this is lack of empathy or just being frustrated with her job. I have only scheduled with her twice, but had a few encounters by a way of her replying to the email of doctors or health care personnel. Patients don't want to feel like a burden when seeking guidance from health care personnel.
this is the best provider I've ever seen via video visit, tbh. I'm nonbinary, so I appreciate the inclusive language she used and the fact that she went above and beyond to try to change my chart to reflect my identity. 10/10 would see again!
