Sometimes you just wish there could be more than just 5 stars thats how I feel about this practice. My story began 20 some odd years ago when I had my first root canal in my early 30’s and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Todd and Dr. Shawn Pobiner’s father who was an exceptional Oral Surgeon and it so happens that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Dr Shawn Pobiner was excellent. He was able to schedule me in a very timely manner, and when I arrived at his office both he and his staff were excellent! I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a root canal.
Dr. Todd Pobiner saw me as an emergency referral patient while I was visiting my mom on LI. From the moment I walked into the office I felt at ease thanks to the wonderful front line syaff. I am so filled with gratitude that an unexpected problem led me to Dr. Pobiner. I will travel back to Long Island from Vermont should I ever need help again. There is a silver (not amalgam) lining to everything, even root canal! Thank you!
I was referred to Island Endodontics for a root canal retreatment on a tooth that had no active pain but showed signs of a dormant infection. After the procedure, my pain escalated significantly. No one from the office followed up with me after the procedure—not Thursday, not Friday—until I called them myself to report the worsening pain. Was told by my dentist i needed a root canal and was recommended to Dr Shawn Pobiners office. Everyone in the office was so nice and accommodating. Dr. pobiner walked me through everything and was extremely caring. 10/10 will be recommending to all my family and friends who are in need! Thank you again for everything!
