Dr. Shawn Funk took incredible care of my son, and I am beyond grateful. His original surgeon deployed, and there were no other surgeons available at BAMC to continue his care. Dr. Funk stepped in without hesitation and performed his surgery, which went smoothly and efficiently. The procedure took about 25 minutes, and everything was explained clearly from start to finish. Dr. Funk is a great doctor! We traveled from our city almost 2 hours away, to have his care for our daughter. He assessed her issues devised a plan of action and in 3 mths time she had a successful surgery! We couldn't be more grateful for the level of care from pre-op to post op and beyond she received. Dr. Funk and his office are great. Everyone is really nice. Dr. Funk asks lots of questions and really pays attention to both me and my child. I would say we are in and out 90% of the time. This is HUGE.
