I have never felt so disrespected and looked down upon in my life. I was treated like a drug addict because I take benzo once a day in the morning that was prescribed to me years ago by a real psychiatrist (now retired). Mind you, this man also works in addiction so he must think everyone on a controlled substance is a addict. I cried in the room when he said he wants to take me off of it. shawn fisher was completely incompetent w my care and took away my medication that helped me in day to day life & helped me stay sober from fentanyl :/ very upsetting since dean smith helped me but unfortunately for me he retired. will be looking for help elsewhere i guess.
My experience with this apnp had its ups and downs. He is very strict on meds for anxiety and sleep. I like the fact that he knows how to be kind, but I feel his treatment methods are inadequate for my needs. He almost refuses to discuss my concerns about my moods, my anxiety, and other problems, witch I believe is a doctors biggest responsibility.
