Room was the worst one I ever had. - lumpy bed & pillows - refrig next to head of bed with noise all night - no working lock on balcony door - small room with loud air cond unit - smoke detector with bright strobe light - no door jamb so noise & light came in - both exceedingly steep staircases had improper handrails - back staircase had sudden drop, no guard, & a hole in eth floor on 2nd level - no drinking water other than a "water fountain" immediately outside the "all gender" bathroom in lobby

Arrived late Sat. Aug. 1 The toilet would partially refill every hour which made it difficult to sleep. So I closed the refill valve to the toilet before gong to sleep the remaining nights to stop the loud noise (flapper needed to be replaced). Moreover, the couple in room 201 next to mine would get up early each morning to go on the porch. The porch door made loud noise when opened that waked me from sleep (needed adjustment and/or lubricant). I told the front desk person on Sunday morning. Lovely as always! Just went for two nights. They offer one night now! Still the best! Go to ocean grove beach!

Excellent location. Excellent staff. Conveniently located however there is NO parking lot or parking spaces for the hotel itself. It can be difficult to find space near the weekend and even late night Fri-Sun but who cares?!? You are on the beach! We enjoyed our stay and the front porch very much..
