Took my bikes in for a Service and a new tyre for one. Oil was only done on one bike spark plug had not been changed on either Brake fluid was not done on either and no new split pin for new tyre and chain was loose on one. Please do not go here and was Way overpriced.
Not helpful at all, put lawnmower in to be repaired when I went to pick it up the handbrake lever was broken and missing and they charged me for extra repairs I didn't give approval for, such as replace a gasket in the engine, (which was the wrong gasket so it sucked into the Engine causing it to leak all over the shop that actually fixed all your mistakes), had to take it elsewhere to be repaired. Would definitely not return.
Discovered this place by accident after a referral from a competitor at Hervey Bay. Wowww - must be good!! Shawey is one of the last of a dying breed - old school, honest, fair, and extremely knowledgeable - these were almost the exact words the other bike shop used, and it's true. Got him to do a tube change after I pinched out my only spare. Very obliging on the phone, was there and available when he said he would be, and did it right there with me. Unfortunately I didn't have a good experience with these guys. Long story short, I dropped my 1974 Trail Boss into the shop in early February 2023 and got it back over a year later... end of February 2024. I found the overall communication and general professionalism to be extremely poor. The whole experience was just super frustrating. Really disappointed as these guys were highly recommended to me by a number of people. Perhaps with the everyday maintenance jobs they are good?
