Pretty sure that dolphin slide has been there since 89, it’s an amazing aquatic center and Clayton’s mini country club but outdated and falling behind. Took out the ice rink for pickle ball courts, when they could’ve expanded the pool and made a lazy river. Honestly an awful waste of prime Clayton parks. Webster and Kirkwood both have better life guards and splash pads for the little ones.
FYI the pool opens for families/kids at 10 am on Saturday (contrary to Google Maps stating it opens at 9) The main lap pool could be cleaner and filtered better. I have not seen any employees going around with a net and getting the debris (hair, bugs, etc) out, which would be helpful.
It was really peaceful, kid friendly
