I had a very disappointing experience at Shaver Lake Marina. The customer service was poor from the beginning, and the staff did not seem interested in addressing our concerns or making sure we had a good experience. The boat that was provided to my friends and I had issues and did not seem to be in the condition we expected for a rental, which caused unnecessary stress and took away from what was supposed to be a fun day on the lake. We rented a pontoon boat and had a very disappointing experience. The first employee who gave us the instructions was unprofessional and did not properly explain how to operate the boat. We were never told that the motor had an issue with lowering, which left us stranded trying to figure it out ourselves. At approximately 1:08 p.m. on July 11, we had to call for assistance because we couldn’t lower the motor. It wasn’t until we called that someone finally explained how to lower it. Experience was beautiful! Jaidy was amazing helped me get my boat slip with no problems. My family had a wonderful 4th of July weekend thanks to Jaidy. We will definitely be back soon.

Junk 8 man...save your money. Rent a 6 man, much better condition, but they do no disclose that. We have rented several times in the past and were quite happy, this time what a disappointment. The 8 man wouldn't start part of the time, the cushion is permanently broken down, the propeller had to manually be lifted up and down at the back of the boat as the button was broken, railing broken and dented (unsafe for a toddler), seats trashed, rude manager who made excuses for everything.
