The place is classy and with sophisticated look. The food is amazing, one the best-tasting pani puri in Melbourne. We live far from Patterson Lakes but we came here all the way to order Cream Chicken. This has become our children’s favourite, aside from Butter Chicken. It was delicious, yummy and not many Indian restaurants have Cream Chicken in their menus. We are happy to find it here at Shavan’s. We ordered the Paneer 65, Shavan’s Special Malai Kofta, and Chilli Cheese Naan (all vegetarian), and every dish was absolutely delightful. They kindly made everything extra hot at our request, while still staying true to the authentic flavors. A special mention to Krish, who greeted our table with a warm smile and checked in on us regularly throughout the meal, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Excellent food, exceptional service is what we experienced. Very clean , lovely environment and nice elevation of being on level 1. The naan 🫓 bread was a highlight being hot and fresh very addictive. The vindaloo curry lamb, prawn and butter chicken were all super tasty.

Never had a negative experience at this restaurant been here many times and the food is so delicious. It made me go from liking Indian food to absolutely loving it. It's my favourite restaurant. It can be a little pricey but we try to only order what we know we will be able to get through and not too many drinks. It's amazing food and great service although sometimes it takes a while to get the waiter to come back out to see if we need anything else after initial order. We love this place though so worth the wait.

Hands down one of the best Indian restaurants we have ever eaten at! The authenticity of flavours and presentation, paired with the exceptional service makes this place one of the biggest hidden gems in Melbourne! We've travelled the world and had Indian food in all the right places, but Shavans trumps!
