After my son was born, his newborn screening test came back abnormal for cystic fibrosis. After learning we would be going to Seattle Children’s Hospital to get the final result I asked Dr. Hornby to leave the results on my voicemail if I did not answer my phone. She said she would. I then asked her if I needed to sign a form to verify this and she said no; me asking her was enough and she could leave a voicemail for me.
