Our physician, Dr. Evans sold his practice to Dr. McMurtry. I called to schedule an annual appointment and was met with a curt and rude person on the phone who among other charming responses corrected me saying, "you patients didn't transfer to us, you would have to be a new patient." Okay, I understand that. She proceeded to be so dismissive and ugly that I decided I would just find another doctor. I asked for my records to be sent to me. Great doctor... because of that make sure you have time to wait for him. Because he will take his time on each patient.
Dr McMurtry has been able to address my current heath issues. He’s also been able to get me on a plan to reach my personal goals. We’ve also talked about a long term plan that seems manageable and comfortable. Really looking forward to working with him and his team today and for years to come. Highly recommend Dr McMurtry
He’s availability to see a new patient is is over four months. My opinion is when a physician has NP or PA on staff to assist the physician with his is patient load asking a new patient to wait months to build a rapport with a patient is not acceptable.
