Shaun is a great doctor with a wealth of experience, excellent bedside manner and surrounded by friendly staff. If I’ve got to go to the doctor, I’ll continue to drive out of my way for a top-notch experience. Thank you!
I would not feel comfortable recommending this doctor. Honesty, transparency, and respect for a patient's choices are fundamental aspects of quality healthcare. Unfortunately, the lack of clear disclosure and the manner in which concerns were handled undermined confidence in the care provided. As a result, I am unable to recommend this physician to others.

Unfortunately, the lack of clear communication and the way concerns were addressed raised questions about the reliability of the care provided. I cannot recommend Dr. McMurtry due to a severe breach of patient trust and a lack of transparency regarding medical testing. My brother questioned a high in-office A1C reading (7.3) that contradicted both his continuous glucose monitor (6.9) and a subsequent home test (6.8). Rather than looking into the discrepancy, he was told to double his medication. My brother's experience with this physician was disappointing and left us with serious concerns about the quality of care he received. Several issues arose regarding the accuracy and handling of his A1C testing, as well as the lack of clarity surrounding the laboratory responsible for analyzing his samples.
