bad service – on July 8th 2011 I took my car, a 1985 Toyota Corolla, to Shattucks Automotive. The mechanic was on vacation, which was fine, so I waited a few weeks to bring the car back on August 5th. Mike offered a diagnostic and found that the car needed a rebuild, which I knew. He called back with a estimate of $3,100. I was ok with this total, which covered the rebuild. I also understood that this was a estimate. Mike questioned my credibility saying, "I don't trust you".
