We stayed at Shasta Inn while visiting Mt. Shasta. The room was clean, the property had rustic charm, and it’s a short drive to the main downtown area. There is also a restaurant on the property, which was convenient. We were traveling with another couple who needed a ground floor room. Since the hotel does not have elevators, we swapped rooms at check in to accommodate them. These rooms, specifically the bathroom, are very dated. Also not that clean, the previous guests toiletries were left in the shower. the free breakfast isn’t available until 8AM… kinda late for folks that get up and going early.
